Religion Communications Congress 2010
The Religion Communicators Congress (RCCongress 2010) is a once-a-decade, interfaith forum of religion communicators gathering from around the world in Chicago, April 7-10, 2010. Speakers include author Mitch Albom (Tuesdays with Morrie and Have a Little Faith); Diana Eck, founder of Harvard University’s pluralism project; columnist and authority on American religion, Martin Marty; Ingrid Mattson, first female president of the Islamic Society of North America; Otis Moss III, pastor of Chicago Trinity Church; musician, composer and storyteller Ken Medema; and Barbara Bradley Hagerty, religion correspondent for National Public Radio.
Attendees will be able to choose from dozens of workshops—one of which will include a look at the U.S. Congregational Life Survey. Deborah Bruce (together with Scott Thumma from Hartford Institute for Religion Research) will present How to Evaluate Research about Congregations and Worshipers.
Discounted early registration ends January 15. For more information and registration, visit the RCCongress 2010 Web site at http://RCCongress2010.org
