In December international climate talks will continue in Copenhagen. The goal of this meeting is to create a new international agreement to lower greenhouse gas emissions that will replace the Kyoto Protocol when it expires in 2012. These are crucial talks, and it is important for the United States to take a leading role in curbing climate change. The National Council of Churches Eco-Justice Program is sponsoring the Countdown to Copenhagen campaign. Visit their website to send a message urging President Obama to urge strong action on climate changes issues and to pledge to do your part for climate change.
That was an inspiring post,
There was huge news about these talks and nothing significant seems to be happening,
The big contirbutors... ie: America, India, China etc will not take the blame and with two of them seeming to not want to change their ways there is no point in these talks...
With small countries like britain and swizerland doing energy saving stuff as low contributors to the crisis, it dosnt make a difference, these stubborn huge counties need to just give up with the macho macho crap and sort themselves out...
Thanks for writing, most people don't bother.
