Food security and global warming
Organic farming beats genetically engineered corn as response to rising global temperatures
Somehow we must beat into submission the myth that technology will solve all the growing food security issues. This Grist article by guest contributor Meredith Niles attempts to put a dent in Monsanto's multi-million $ public relations campaign.

It happened again. I mentioned the name of a large agri-corporation in my post and a record number of visits were made that very day or the next.
My theory?
Monsanto and Cargill PR and marketing staff and lawyers, in these cases, are literally combing the web for any mention of their machinations - to see where they are praised, but especially to find and address those considered sufficiently threatening so they can be discredited. Or, more indirectly, to help them shape what their messages should be.
Paranoia?
How else would you explain the unusual number of hits?
