“It feels like we’re at the edge of a roller coaster…again.” Heidi Hartman, an elder and office manager at North Point Church remarked when reflecting on the congregation’s October ’05 decision to charter as an independent church. Since that decision was recommended by the North Point steering committee and made overwhelmingly by North Point congregants, the administrative commission formed by Seattle Presbytery has been taking assertive steps to charter the church this Spring.
